Posted • Just found him on the way to Patna, Deniyaya (Sliding Rock) trails.
I named him Simba.
He simply followed us all the way to the Patna waterfall (Sliding Rock).

After enjoying our time sliding, we were about to have our lunch — chicken rice — and we shared some with him too.
He didn’t let any other stray puppies come near the food — like he was the king of Patna!

Later, we had rotti with sambol at a small village shop and gave him some of that as well.

After that, we couldn’t see him anymore.
He had only followed us because of the food we carried earlier.
Once his need was fulfilled, he stopped and didn’t come any further.

Lesson: Most will follow or stay with you only when they need something.
Very few stay without expectations.
Those rare ones — find them and keep them close like precious gems
But still he is cute puppy 🫰🏻❤️
