Colombo Cooperative

Hello friends, since we opened our doors in May of 2018, and well before that, you have been a part of Colombo Cooperative as we shared little insights in to our space and community through this medium. Thank you for being with us all these years, we have some sad news, we will not be reopening Colombo Cooperative at 365, Galle Road, Colombo 03 after this lockdown.

I’m proud of what we have accomplished, when we opened in May 2018 coworking in Sri Lanka was all a new concept to many, we created a beautifully inclusive space where community gathered and ideas were shared, and now the landscape is much different and I’m glad Colombo Cooperative was a catalyst and to have been a part of that cultural journey as well.

Over the years,

✨We were the first and only 100% woman-owned, funded and operated co-working space in Sri Lanka 

✨Over 5000 people came through our doors 

✨Hosted 80+ events with 100+ speakers, giving some their first speaking opportunities! 

✨Watched 1,100 golden sunsets at the office  

✨& had over 10,000 social and email friends!!

We are sad but grateful for the last 3 years, the challenges, the ambition, the memories, the friendships, the learnings and growth, here’s to always.
