• ඔබේ නිවස හා අවට පරිශ්‍රය පිරිසිදුව තබා ගන්න: මදුරුවන් බෝ විය හැකි ජලය රැඳෙන භාජන, ටයර්, ඉවතලන ද්‍රව්‍ය ඉවත් කරන්න.
• අවධානයෙන් සිටින්න: සතියකට වරක් හෝ ඔබේ නිවසේ සහ වත්තේ මදුරුවන් බෝ විය හැකි ස්ථාන තිබේදැයි පරීක්ෂා කරන්න.
• දැනුම් දෙන්න: ඔබේ ප්‍රදේශයේ මදුරුවන් බෝවන ස්ථාන පිළිබඳව තොරතුරු තිබේ නම්, වහාම මහජන සෞඛ්‍ය පරීක්ෂකවරයාට හෝ ග්‍රාම නිලධාරිවරයාට දැනුම් දෙන්න.

• உங்கள் வீடும் சுற்றுப்புறமும் சுத்தமாக இருக்குமாறு பராமரிக்கவும்: நுளம்புகள் இனப்பெருக்கம் செய்யக்கூடிய நீர் தேங்கும் பாத்திரங்கள், பழைய டயர்கள் மற்றும் தேவையற்ற பொருட்களை அகற்றுங்கள்.

Nationwide Dengue Prevention Program Launched with the Support of the Sri Lanka Police

The Sri Lanka Police, in collaboration with the health authorities and Grama Niladharis, have launched extensive dengue prevention and control programs across the country to curb the rapid spread of dengue.

Public cooperation is vital to the success of this effort. Preventing dengue is not solely the responsibility of government agencies; it is a shared civic responsibility that requires the active participation of every citizen.

How You Can Help:

Keep your home and surroundings clean: Remove or dispose of containers, tires, and other items that can collect stagnant water and become mosquito breeding sites.
Stay alert: Inspect your home and garden at least once a week to identify and eliminate potential mosquito breeding areas.
Report breeding sites: If you notice mosquito breeding sites in your neighborhood, promptly inform your Public Health Inspector (PHI) or Grama Niladhari.

Together, we can create a safer, mosquito-free environment and protect our communities from dengue.
