High Tea with Legends 2026

Continuing a valued tradition, the Old Nalandians’ Silver Committee together with Team Nalanda Maroons successfully organized High Tea with Legends 2026 at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, a week ahead of the 96th Battle of the Maroons.

The programme was designed to provide encouragement, motivation and valuable guidance to the Nalanda College Cricket Team as they prepared for the prestigious big match encounter.

The session featured inspiring interactions with distinguished Old Nalandian and veteran cricket commentator Mr. Kamal Deshappriya, Sri Lanka National Fast Bowling Coach Mr. Anusha Samaranayake, and former Hong Kong Sixes winning team member and current Chief Distribution Officer of Allianz Insurance, Mr. Ranga Dias. Sharing their experiences, insights and words of wisdom, the speakers helped uplift the morale and confidence of the players, reinforcing the spirit, discipline and pride required to represent Nalanda on the grand stage.
