සැකකාර ගුවන් සේවිකාව තම රාජකාරී නිමවී මෙරට ගුවන් තොටුපලින් පිටවන අවස්ථාවේදී මෙලස නීතිවිරෝධීව මෙරටට රත්‍රන් ගෙන ඒමට තැත් කර ඇති අතර ස්වර්ණාභරණ තොගයේ වටිනාකම මිලියන 45කට අධික වන බවට තක්සේරු කර ඇත.

එසේ නමුදු රේගු නිලධාරීන්ගේ විමසිලිමත් භාවය නිසා එම උත්සහය ව්‍යර්ථ කිරීමට හැකියාව ලැබී ඇති අතර සැකකාරිය සම්බන්දව වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ.

Sri Lanka Customs Surpasses 2025 Revenue Target Ahead of Schedule!

Sri Lanka Customs has proudly surpassed its annual revenue target of Rs. 2,115 billion for the year 2025, achieving an impressive Rs. 2,117.2 billion as of November 11, well ahead of schedule.

Sri Lanka Customs is very happy and proud to announce that on 11th November, it surpassed the revenue target set for the year 2025. As of end Tuesday, 50 days before the close of 2025, the Department had collected a total revenue of Rs. 2,117.2 billion. Considering the current pace of revenue collection, it is expected that the annual target will be exceeded by over Rs. 300 billion by year’s end.

This remarkable accomplishment stands as a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and collective effort of the entire Sri Lanka Customs team, whose unwavering commitment continues to drive the nation’s fiscal success.

The Department remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen the national economy, ensure efficient revenue collection, facilitate trade, and uphold the highest standards of public service and integrity.

A Historic Milestone for Sri Lanka Customs!

Sri Lanka Customs has officially surpassed Rs. 2 Trillion (Rs. 2,000 Billion) in revenue collection for the year as of October 30th.

Announcing this achievement, Director General Seevali Arukgoda stated that the Department is well on track to reach its annual target of Rs. 2.115 Trillion for 2025, marking the highest ever tax revenue collected by a single government department in Sri Lanka’s history.

With strong performance across all revenue streams, Sri Lanka Customs remains confident of exceeding the annual target by nearly Rs. 300 Billion by year’s end.

2025.10.22 දින ශ්‍රී ලංකා තැපෑලේ EMS සේවය ඔස්සේ බෙල්ජියමේ සිට මෙරට මුතූර් ප්‍රදේශයේ ලිපිනයකට ආ පාර්සලයක තිබී M**A (මැන්ඩි) වර්ගයේ යැයි සැකකරන මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය කිලෝග්‍රෑම් 6ක ප්‍රමාණයක් ශ්‍රී ලංකා රේගුවේ ත්‍රිකුණාමල තැපැල් කාර්‍යාලයට අනුයුක්තව රාජකාරී කරන රේගු නිලධාරීන් විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගනු ලැබීය.

මෙම පාරසලය තුල තිබූ සෙල්ලම් භාණ්ඩ අසුරන තුල සූක්ෂමව සඟවා තිබියදී මෙම මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය සොයාගෙන ඇති අතර මෙම පාර්සලය ලබා ගැනීමට පැමිනි වයස අවුරුදු 26ක තරුණයකු ද අතඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇත.

මෙම මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය තොගයේ වීදිවටිනාකම රුපියල් මිලියන 90ක් පමණ වන බවට ගණනය කර ඇති අතර මේ පිළිබඳව වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන ක්‍රියාත්මකයි.
