Following a long-standing tradition, the SLIIT Student Interactive Society organised the SLIIT WALK 2017, which was held on October 01st. Under the theme ‘Strides for Hope’, over 3,000 SLIIT students and staff came together at Bloomfield Grounds Colombo, in order to create awareness about and actively be a part of uplifting the quality of life of underprivileged children in the country. The initiative is one that the SLIIT administration regards just as important as academics, as we aim to produce students who are empathetic, conscientious and responsible, as much as they are educated, professional and qualified.

The Business Management Students’ Conference, ‘SHOOT FOR THE STARS- Reshaping your journey towards success’ organised by the Faculty of Business Students Community (FBSC) of SLIIT, was held for the 11th consecutive year on August 16th 2017, at the SLIIT Malabe auditorium.

SLIIT Soft Skills+ 2017 was held on 17th of March 2017from 12.30pm onwards at SLIIT Auditorium.
