Senior Software Engineer – ReactJS / React Native

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Holding a masters and/or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or a related field
• More than 5 years of industry experience
• 2-3 years experience in React Native development
• 2-3 years proficient front-end experience using Advanced – JavaScript
libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, etc
• Sound experience in native (Java, Objective-C) components.
• Experience in working on fintech/crypto projects will be an added
advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate on the various layers of the software development
• Produce high quality, high stability code, and designs by following
software engineering best practices
• Research on new technologies, advancements, and industry
improvement to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance
the success of the company
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch
new features
• Maintain code integrity
• Understanding and implementation of security measures to ensure data
protection

Skills:
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
1-2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering or in a similar capacity.
High level of attention to detail and product focus.
Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, tools and processes.
Experience working in a Agile/Scrum development process.
Good communication skills in English language.
Hands on experience with automated testing tools will be added advantage.

Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
Monitor debugging process results
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
