Il 26 ottobre 2023 ha lasciato il suo corpo terreno -Shri Mahant Managalanand Puri — Goa Gil
Babaji.
Il sadhu che ha dato vita alla psytrance.
Non solo musica, ma un Rituale.

Goa Gil è stato molto più di un artista: ha plasmato un movimento, ha trasformato il dancefloor in una cerimonia, portando la trance dance come strumento di espansione, fusione assoluta tra spiritualità ed elettronica.
Non si è mai piegato al commerciale.Ha sempre sostenuto la visione più pura e più underground,spingendo nuova musica, nuovi artisti, nuove frequenze.
Senza di lui, non esisterebbe ciò che oggi chiamiamo dark.

Per noi di Atman Tribe, Goa Gil è stato la base. L’ispirazione. La direzione.
Seguendo la sua verità, abbiamo abbracciato l’underground come scelta di vita,portando avanti quella stessa energia: autentica, libera, senza compromessi.

Babaji ci ha guidati fino al Kumbh Mela di Haridwar nel 2010,
Da lì è diventato chiaro cosa volevamo creare:
non solo un festival, ma un’esperienza spirituale.

GOA GIL TRIBUTE — 24H RITUAL

On October 26, 2023 Shri Mahant Managalanand Puri — Goa Gil left his physical body.
Babaji.
The sadhu who gave birth to psytrance.
Not just music — a Ritual.

Goa Gil was far more than an artist: he shaped a movement, turned the dancefloor into ceremony, bringing trance dance as a tool for expansion, a pure fusion between spirituality and electronic sound.
He never bowed to the commercial world.
Always standing for the rawest, purest underground vision, pushing new music, new artists, new frequencies.
Without him, what we now call dark would not exist.

For us at Atman Tribe, Goa Gil has been the foundation.The inspiration. The direction.
Following his truth, we embraced the underground as a way of life, carrying forward that same energy: real, free, uncompromising.
Babaji guided us to the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar, 2010. There, everything became clear: not just a festival, but a spiritual experience.
