Students Wellbeing Programme
A workshop was conducted by Shanthiham on 22 December 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at J/Urumpirai Sandrothaya Vidyalayam. The programme focused on addressing emotional wellbeing, behavioural challenges, and positive coping strategies among students. A total of 47 students (Gr.6 to Gr.09) participated in the workshop. The sessions were interactive and student-centred, enabling participants to express their emotions and concerns openly.

As per the request of the Department of Education, a one-day awareness and guidance workshop on Life Skills, Career Guidance, Effects of Substance Usage, and Mindfulness was successfully conducted by AHC Shanthiham at J / St. Roches R.C. Vidyalayam on 22nd December 2025 at 9.30 Am to 10.30Am. The programme aimed at empowering students with essential life competencies, guiding them towards meaningful career paths, creating awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse, and introducing mindfulness practices for mental well-being. Practicum Visit – MSc in Health Management
AHC Shanthiham was pleased to host MSc in Health Management (Batch III) students from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna, for a practicum visit on 7th and 14th November 2025. A total of 16 participants engaged in this learning experience. The visit provided valuable insights into the structure, services, referral processes, and challenges of a community-based mental health and counselling organization, while helping students understand the vital role Shanthiham plays in addressing gaps within the current health system.
