These palm leavers books are old nearly 500 years. they are own by the healers and it has Sinhalese alphabetical . writing of the alphabetical is different to each others and they are very beautiful hand writing. these book were written by the monks which came from oral practices. this is proving that richness of Sinhalese language and knowledge on writing it in palm leaves
