Chilled water systems are generally used in medium and large size buildings. Chiller plants act as centralized cooling systems providing cooling to or even multiple buildings. Chilled water systems provide cooling to facilities by using chilled water to absorb heat from the building’s spaces.

This system is used to provide a comfortable environment for humans. It Reduces the Temperature and humidity to a comfortable level.

Usually, most people find the ideal temperature & ideal relative humidity level in the living room to be,

Temperature-19 -22 °C
Relative Humidity-30%-50%.

1. Chiller & Chilled water

This is the heart of the Central Air Conditioning system. The main function of the chiller is to produce Chilled water to run the system. Basically, chilled water is treated water that has cooled down to a specific temperature. (usually between 7 °C to 13°C).
