අරන් ලඟකට අපේ හිස සිබ
කිව්ව දේවල් අදත් දැනුනා
තරහකට නොව පුතේ තැලුවේ
නුඹලා තැනකට ගන්න හිතුනා
ඕන නම් උබ ඉගෙන ගනියෙන්
එපා නම් අත හැරලා දැමුනා
එහෙම ගුරු මව වෙන්න බෑ පුත
මගේ යුතුකම නිමා කෙරුනා........................

එදා පුත අපි හැදින ගුරු හිත
අදත් දුටු විට දෙපා වැන්දා
