Sri Lanka Turtle Conservation Project

We were pleased to conduct an awareness and training program for the Sri Lanka Navy camp in Trincomalee, focusing on the importance of marine and coastal conservation.

The session was conducted by Mr. Thushan Kapurusinghe, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Turtle Conservation Project, focusing on sea turtle biology, turtle conservation, mangrove ecosystems, and the many challenges faced by sea turtles in the wild.

The program aimed to strengthen awareness and encourage active participation in protecting Sri Lanka’s valuable marine and coastal environments.
