Rotary Trincomalee, together with the Interact Clubs of Methodist Girls’ College, donated 25 pairs of shoes to deserving students of the school. 👞📚

Through this initiative, we hope to ease the challenges faced by students and give them the confidence and strength to focus on their education and future goals. Every step toward learning is a step toward a brighter tomorrow.

The Rotary Club of Trincomalee, in collaboration with the Interact Club of Pallikkudiyiruppu Kalaimakal vidyalayam, Trincomalee, has successfully supported 25 needy students of Pallikkudiyiruppu Kalaimakal Vidyalayam through the donation of shoes as part of a disaster relief initiative.

This timely assistance has eased the financial burden on affected families and ensured that students can continue attending school with comfort, dignity, and confidence. The project has helped restore normalcy in their education after difficult circumstances, while also improving attendance and motivation among students. By addressing an essential need, Rotary has strengthened its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during disaster situations. The joint effort also fosters youth engagement and community solidarity, creating a meaningful and lasting positive impact on children’s education and well-being.
