Rural Women Rights Structure

1. To fight for, promote, defend and advance the rights and privileges of women, girls and children in B**g, Nimba, and Margibi Counties.

2. To create a level-playing field in which women and young girls will have a say in community decision-making processes--women political participation and economic empowerment.

3. To train and empower women and girls become useful citizens by availing opportunities that recognize their full potentials in free and spaced environment as human beings.

4. To improve the lives of children through recreational and education activities depicting and/or recognizing their human rights at all levels.

Activities of RWRS:

Key activities of Rural Women Rights Structure include but not limited to the following:

1. Organize training programs to build the intellectual, technical and educational capacities of women, women groups, girls and children as well as youth boys and men through education, advocacy, and the advancement of their SRHR at all levels free from negative influence.

2. Provide logistical support to women groups that have little or no external support

3. Conduct research to uncover and report violations and abuse faced by women and girls

4. Organize advocacy campaigns that protect and promote the cause and rights of women and children and seek state-actors’ intervention and/or remedy

5. Provide services to the less fortunate, vulnerable communities, and dropped out of school and school girls
