From Representation to Influence FIJADA Liberia on the Continental Stage

At the 6th Extraordinary African Youth Leadership Diplomatic Conference, FIJADA Liberia was not just present we were purposefully engaged in shaping conversations that matter.

Under the theme “From Policy to Action: Accelerating African-Led Solutions for Regional Peace and Stability,” the President of FIJADA Liberia proudly represented Liberia within the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) Council, contributing to the Committee on Social Policy and Human Capital Development.

Championing the agenda “Developing Africa’s Human Capital for Inclusive Economic Growth,” her participation amplified a clear message: Africa’s future depends on intentional investment in its people their skills, their opportunities, and their leadership.

This was more than dialogue. It was a call to action to transform policies into tangible outcomes, to prioritize youth as drivers of change, and to strengthen collaborative solutions that secure sustainable growth and regional stability.

FIJADA Liberia remains committed to moving beyond conversations to influence, to impact, and to lead.

Today, as the world commemorates International Women’s Day, FIJADA Liberia proudly joins the global community in celebrating the remarkable achievements, resilience, and leadership of women across the globe.

Women continue to play an indispensable role in shaping families, strengthening communities, and driving social, economic, and political progress.

Their voices, ideas, and contributions remain essential to building inclusive societies and a more just and equitable world.

Meet our President — FIJADA Liberia Chapter!

Mrs. Pearl M. Anderson-Hutchins is a visionary youth leader, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for women and youth empowerment in Liberia and across Africa. She is the Founder and President of the International Forum of African Youth for the Development of Africa (FIJADA) — Liberia Chapter, an organization dedicated to nurturing bold, ethical, and transformational leaders committed to sustainable development across the continent.

With a strong academic and professional foundation, she holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Sociology, a Master’s Degree in International Relations, a Diploma in Airline Ticketing, a Certificate in Fashion Design, and multiple certifications in Leadership Development. Her multidisciplinary education reflects a deep understanding of social systems, global diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and strategic leadership.

As a development practitioner and founder of empowerment initiatives, including PADE and other youth-focused platforms, Mrs. Anderson-Hutchins has consistently created opportunities that equip women and young people with practical skills, confidence, and leadership capacity. Her work integrates social development, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and community transformation, positioning her as a dynamic force for change.

Her leadership philosophy is rooted in empowerment, inclusion, and innovation. She strongly believes that young people are not merely the future but the present driving force shaping Africa’s progress.

Through FIJADA Liberia, she continues to champion youth advocacy, leadership development, unity, and continental collaboration, with a clear mission to raise a generation that is informed, empowered, and prepared to lead sustainable transformation in Liberia and across Africa.
