Between October 13–15, 2025, members of the Liberian Parliamentary Caucus of the African Parliamentary Network on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (APNIFFT) joined colleagues from across the continent in Johannesburg, South Africa, for the 10th APNIFFT Continental Conference.

The conference, coordinated by Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA), marks a decade of collective action in combating illicit financial flows (IFFs) and advancing tax justice as a cornerstone for equitable development in Africa.

Representing Liberia were Senator Francis Dopoh, Chairman of the Liberian APNIFFT Caucus, and Senator Nyan Twayen, who actively engaged in discussions on strengthening parliamentary oversight and policy coherence in the fight against IFFs.
