Topic: Walking in Covenant with God
Text: Exodus‬ ‭19‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭

“ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:”

Our God is a covenant keeping God. Just as you cannot stop the day and the night from appearing, you cannot stop God from keeping his covenant (Jeremiah 33:20-21).

A covenant is an agreement between two parties with well defined terms and conditions. A covenant can also be likened to a treaty signed between God and man, man and man, or man and the devil.
Therefore, as children of God, we must uphold our own side of every covenant with God, to maintain His hand and blessings upon our life.

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”‭‭ (Deuteronomy‬ ‭28‬:‭1‬)

It is my prayer that as you take responsibility today to keep your covenant with God, he will shower you with the blessings and rewards that you deserve in Jesus name.

May the Lord keep you as the apple of his eyes. May the Lord subdue the Egyptians before you. May the Lord go before you and establish his covenant unto you and your seed.
