Our fashionable mudcloth kimono made in Liberia, is known as “The Mono”.

The fabric is made of 100% cotton, woven and dyed in Mali using fermented mud as a key element. The dyes are extracted from plants, barks, etc. to give us different shades in the patterns. The “bògòlanfini” as it’s called, is known to have traditional essence, and has now entered into the world of fashion.

We put together a “HOW TO” to show you how to can clean your kimono to maintain its colors and quality.

You can hand wash, machine wash, or most preferably dry clean.
