All 285 Yellow Machines Arrive in Liberia; Government Sets June 29 for Deployment to Counties

‎The Yellow Machines Management Committee has announced that the Government of Liberia has completed the importation of all 285 yellow machines intended for road construction and maintenance across the country.

‎Speaking to LNTV on Saturday at Camp Sandee Ware Military Barracks, a senior member of the Special Presidential Project Coordinating Committee, the body responsible for overseeing the deployment and operation of the machines, said distribution to the counties will begin on June 29, 2026.

‎According to the official, the rollout will commence in the southeastern region before expanding to other parts of the country. The deployment is expected to provide counties with much-needed equipment for road rehabilitation and maintenance projects.

‎The yellow machines program is one of the Boakai administration's flagship infrastructure initiatives aimed at improving road connectivity and reducing the government's dependence on rented or contracted road construction equipment.
