In a significant step towards enhancing housing facilities, the Ma-Nyanpu and Fasu Group of Companies, a Margibian-owned construction firm, has emerged victorious in the competitive bidding process for the renovation and reconstruction of housing units at the KRTTI (Kakata Rural Teacher Training Institute).
This project, comprising the partial renovation of 13 units and the complete reconstruction of 3 units, officially commenced in late March and is anticipated to span four months.
During a media briefing held on Monday, Gebah Fofana, the manager of Ma-Nyanpu and Fasu Group, expressed commitment to delivering high-quality, standardized work, aligning with the expectations set by the KRTTI administration. He emphasized that their firm is not known for cutting corners or compromising on quality.
Cooper Saysay, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, reiterated the commitment of his Margibian-owned institution to provide exemplary work. He assured that the renovations would meet the standards anticipated by KRTTI's administration, aiming to deliver facilities that are both impressive and functional for the institution's trainers and administrative staff.
In support of the project, Madam Sorna Sherif, the Directress of KRTTI, shared her enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to have Ma-Nyanpu and Fasu Group on board for this renovation and reconstruction project. Their commitment to quality matches our vision for KRTTI, and we are optimistic that these improvements will significantly enhance the living and working conditions for our staff and trainers, thereby enabling them to better serve our students."
This project underscores the company’s dedication to supporting the government of Liberia in addressing the urgent construction and housing needs of its citizens. The enhancements to the KRTTI facilities will ensure that the institution can better serve its educational mission, providing conducive and modern living spaces for trainers and staff, which is essential for the effective training of future leaders in Liberia.
As the renovation and reconstruction efforts unfold, the Ma-Nyanpu and Fasu Group aims not only to uplift the physical structures but also to contribute to the community’s overall development, believing that quality housing plays a critical role in the productivity and well-being of its trainers and administrative personnel.
