B**g County Chairman Steps Down from PUP, Shifts Loyalty to New Party Leadership

After careful consideration and personal reflection, William Sumoward has tendered his resignation as B**g County Chairman of the People’s Unification Party (PUP). Citing the end of the party’s 2020-2024 convention cycle and after consulting with key stakeholders, Sumoward made the decision to part ways with his former party.
In a formal letter addressed to Acting Chairman Benjamin Massaquoi, Sumoward expressed gratitude to his supporters for their unwavering support throughout his time with the PUP.
Subsequent to his departure from the PUP, Sumoward has joined forces with the People’s Action Party (PAP) and has been appointed as Vice Chairman for Research, Planning, and Policy within the new party structure.
