The Copyright Society of Liberia (COSOL)

COSOL is the only Collective Management Organization (CMO) in Liberia that is responsible for economic rights derived from creativity. The style of CMO administered by COSOL is a semi-public. As a semi-public entity, they are funded, Staff and equipped by the Government of Liberia and also have the authority to generate funds from projects and other programs. Their Staffs are recruited outside of Government structures, not Government Employees and the system of management is a hybrid of both public and private.

To develop a value system for creativity in our culture such that fame and popularity is directly proportional to wealth generation by right holders.

VISION

To harnessed the economic benefit of creativity by right holders by providing a platform where creativity can be a source of sustenance for the community.
