On August 24, 2016, the residents who would later be called FRIENDS IN SUPPORT OF KANNAH 2017- (FRISK 17), made a milestone in their numbers with a resounding voice crying in the wilderness of poverty, digression, and isolation in decision making; Crying for a change.
They stood in the heavy rains of our national flag day, and in one voice they PETITIONED ME TO CONTEST FOR REPRESENTATIVE OF DISTRICT #8, montserrado county.

According to them, they envisioned a district #8, so unique to a culturally DIVERSE and developmentally INCLUSIVE lawmaking, oversight and representation, aimed at helping to improve our democracy.

I accepted the petition some four months ago and reassured them that I am , and to take on their mandate based on the conference so repose in me by the power vested in them in accordance with the constitution of the Republic of Liberia

I decided to officially tell you this as my people on this day
