📢 Today is and we celebrate the power, endurance, resilience, determination and joy of the women in the Liberia Marathon

‼ Since our first race in 2011, the ratio of women among our finishers climbed from 19.7% to 32.8% in 2025. This means almost every third finisher is a woman and and we want to see it grow further!

💪🏿 Women are strong drivers of the success of our organising committe and amongst our volunteers.

📢 Today, we want to give a major shout out to the amazing athletes with disabilities at the Liberia Marathon 2025. Your determination is unmatched.

➡ Yesterday, on December 3, the world celebrated the International Day of People with Disabilities .

➡ The Liberia Marathon has been an inclusive race from its inaugural stages onwards. We always try to improve and get better.

➡ Full inclusion is not a box to tick, it is the standard we all shall strive to reach together.
