# # # DAY 1 - THEORY FOUNDATIONS
2. DAY 1: THEORY - 5th June, 19:00-22:00
SEHLOOHO: What is Physical Theatre?

#2.1 DEFINITION
Physical Theatre = Theatre where the body is the main tool of storytelling.
Mantsoe a manyane, ‘mele o bua haholo.

#2.2 5 CORE SKILLS WE WILL TEACH:
1. _Body Awareness & Control_ - Tseba ‘mele oa hao. Taolo ea mesifa, ho phefumoloha, ho leka

2. _Creating Character Without Words_ - Haha sebopeho ka ho tsamaea, boemo ba ‘mele, sefahleho.

3. _Stage Presence & Energy_ - Mokhoa oa ho “tlatsa”ethala. Mahlo, matla, boteng.

4. _Space & Rhythm_ - Sebelisa stage, tempo, ho ema, ho khutsa. Silence is a line too.

5. _Ensemble & Teamwork_ - Ho sebetsa le sehlopha se le seng. Ho tšepana, ho mamelana.

#2.3 RULES OF THE ROOM
1. Respect your body + others’ bodies
2. No judgement - this is a safe space
3. Punctuality = respect
4. Phone on silent, but mind ON
