Revolution for Prosperity (RFP) wishes to alert the nation about a fraudulent online post circulating on social media, using a doctored video screenshot and fake “Lesotho Times” branding to promote an “investment platform.”

1. This image is fake
2. The news banner is fabricated
3. The website attached is a scam created to steal money and personal information

This is a well-known international cyber-fraud tactic where criminals:
• Steal images of leaders and public figures
• Edit fake “breaking news” banners
• Promise unrealistic payments (“17,300 per week”)
• Push victims to transfer money to fraudulent accounts

These scams are run by organised networks who target countries like ours because they assume Basotho can be easily misled by content that appears “official.”

Let us be clear:
No Government office and no leader in Lesotho has endorsed any investment platform of this kind.

As RFP, we remind Basotho that the movement stands for transparency and honest development.
These fake posts are meant to confuse, distract, and exploit our people. We encourage everyone to report such pages and protect your financial information.

Lesotho deserves better — and we will continue fighting for a secure, informed and empowered nation.
