UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” starts RECONNECT project (March 2021, Kaunas)

Last year UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” invited 2 Italian partners (STAM and EMAC) to join and create a consortium. The main target of consortium is to implement the DIH HERO TTE, RECONNECT project with the idea of technological transfer of a space originated mechanical transmission into a prosthetic arm prototype, to improve its mechanical characteristics, such as: precision, lightness, torque density, reliability and robustness.

THANKS for DIH HERO organizers who gave us this great possibility to bring RECONNECT to life, which will significantly improve everyday activities of disabled people.

UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” participated in LSB 2018 Exposition (September 2018, Vilnius)

Life Sciences Baltics (LSB) is the only international forum in the Baltics for world-class biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices experts from all around the world. It provided a unique opportunity for UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” to explore the new horizons of partnerships, present its business ideas and seek progress through networking.

In 2014 – UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” participated in LSB 2014 as a visitors.

In 2016 – UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” already participated in LSB 2016 B2B meetings, networking events.

In 2018 – UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” had its own exhibition space of the LSB 2018 event and got in contact with different public and private entities from all over the world.

In 2020 – UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” will participate as exhibitors at LSB 2020.

UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” opened an operational office in Kaunas (March 2016, Kaunas)

The Lithuanian high-tech company UAB “Gruppo FOS Lithuania” was established in Kaunas Science and Technology Park, Santaka Valley. The arrival of a foreign-owned company in Kaunas was encouraged by the development of biomedical electronic equipment for post-stroke monitoring started together with Lithuanian scientists.

Kaunas University of Technology and Italian company FOS signed a cooperation agreement (September 2014, Kaunas)

Supported by foreign investment development agency Invest Lithuania, Italian company Gruppo FOS visited Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and decided to establish a biomedical engineering research centre in Santaka Valley thanks to its advanced scientific infrastructure, the availability of skilled experts with the necessary scientific competences and the huge potential of KTU’s faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students.
