Today is International Pancake Day!
We have prepared an outstanding recipe for extremely healthy pancakes to enjoy! 4 easy steps and low carb, no sugar pancakes are ready 🥞
Ingredients you need:
2 medium ripe bananas (best when they have lots of brown spots)
2 eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats, gluten free if desired
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until completely smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Let the batter sit in your blender while you heat your pan up.
2. Lightly coat a griddle with coconut oil, vegan butter or olive oil and place over medium heat. Once pan is hot, add 1/3 cup of the batter to the griddle for each pancake and cook for 2-4 minutes until pancakes slightly puff up and you see a few bubbles along the edges.
3. Flip cakes and cook until golden brown on underside. If you find that pancakes are browning too quickly then you need to lower the heat. I normally start on medium heat, then decrease to medium low later so that my pancakes don't burn. If at any point your griddle starts smoking, it means your pan is too hot.
4.Wipe skillet clean and repeat with more oil and remaining batter. Makes 9 pancakes total.

- Should I take BCAA?
Unless you spend everyday at least one hour at the gym, short answer is no.
BCAA are amino acids that helps your muscles restore better and faster. It is aimed for professional athletes to stay active longer, it will not bring any substantial change to someone who does light workout few times a week.
Our advice is to do the blood test and consult with professional doctors before taking any supplements.

Do I need to start using additional protein? My personal trainer is suggesting to take additional protein.
In short - probably not.
If you only have started doing fitness or you have found new personal trainer and he/she is constantly talking that you need to consume additional supplements, the most commonly he is just trying to sell you supplements. Most trainers receive shares and royalties when their clients buy supplements from them.
BUT if you think that is not the case, most people don't need additional supplements, healthy eating and counting macros is enough.
ONLY when you have been eating good, receive enough protein from your food and your muscles still not growing, ONLY then you can start consuming additional protein.
