What is VUSR FEBA members doing in autumn? 🍂 Raising our competencies!

Here are some moments from autumn trainings, during which VUSR FEBA and VUSR FPhil spent the weekend learning about VUSR, its structure and history, representation and developing their personal skills - time management, public speaking and problem solving 💡

🇱🇹 VU SA pozicija aiški – valdžioje norime pavyzdžio ir vertybinio pamato.

Vakar – nebuvo pabaiga. Liūdna stebėti vis silpnėjantį pasitikėjimą šalies valdžia, menkinamą kultūrą kaip tautos pagrindą bei ignoruojamą visuomenės balsą. Reiškiame susirūpinimą padėtimi bei visokeriopą solidarumą su kultūros bendruomene.

‼️ Skatiname studentus (-es) veikti vertybiniu, pilietiniu požiūriu, net jeigu tokio kriterijaus nebekelia aukščiausi (-ios) mūsų valstybės vadovai (-ės).

Jau RYTOJ:
📣 Nuo 10 val. VU Centriniuose rūmuose (Universiteto g. 3), Observatorijos kiemelyje (įėjimas per Pilies g.) kartu ruoštis studentų (-čių) eitynėms, gamintis palaikymą išreiškiančius plakatus.

📣 13:00 raginame susitikti prie Nepriklausomybės aikštės ir dalyvauti studentų (-čių) eitynėse per Gedimino prospektą (daugiau informacijos: https://fb.me/e/337xxw8Tf )

📣 14:00 kviečiame į VU Didžiajame kieme vyksiantį Kultūros asamblėjos protesto renginį. Jo metu bus grojama Mikalojaus Konstantino Čiurlionio simfoninė poema „Jūra“, pasirodys VU folkloro ansamblis „Ratilio“.

🇬🇧 The position of VU SR is clear – we want an example and a base of values in government.

Yesterday was not the end. It is sad to see the weakening of trust in the country's government, the undermining of culture as the foundation of the nation, and the ignoring of the voice of society. We express our concern about the situation and our full solidarity with the cultural community.

‼️ We encourage students to act in accordance with values and civic principles, even if our country's highest leaders no longer uphold such criteria.

TOMORROW:
📣 From 10:00 a.m. at the VU Central Building (Universiteto st. 3), in the Observatory courtyard (entrance via Pilies Street), to prepare for the student march and make posters expressing our support.

📣 At 1:00 p.m., we invite you to gather at Independence Square and participate in the student march along Gediminas Avenue (for more information, visit https://fb.me/e/337xxw8Tf).

📣 At 2:00 p.m., we invite you to the Cultural Assembly protest event in the Great Courtyard of Vilnius University. Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis' symphonic poem “The Sea” will be performed, and the Vilnius University folk ensemble “Ratilio” will perform.
