A true hidden gem in Dudelange 🇰🇷✨

If you love Korean BBQ, you need to know about Gamja. It’s one of those places we keep going back to again and again. They have a full menu with Korean fried chicken and a variety of traditional dishes, but we almost always go straight for the BBQ because it’s simply an incredible deal.

For around €30 per person, you get more meat than you can possibly finish, plus rice, all the small Korean side dishes and 3 incredible sauces! We always leave with a big takeaway box, which honestly makes the value even better.

It’s not a fancy place, but that’s part of the charm. It’s warm, relaxed, and you’ll see all kinds of people there, couples on date night, families, and groups of friends. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere feels welcoming from the moment you walk in.

One tip: book ahead, they’re often full, especially on weekends.

A little slice of Venice in Luxembourg 🇮🇹 🍷

We recently tried the aperò cena concept at Il Bacaro, and we absolutely loved it. It’s the kind of place you pop into after work for a glass of wine or a perfectly mixed Aperol Spritz, then stay a little longer than planned catching up with friends.

Don’t come expecting pizza or pasta. This is a true Venetian-style aperitivo experience. Think tramezzini and cicchetti Veneziani, high quality small bites designed to pair beautifully with wine or cocktails, all at really fantastic prices. We were stuffed from all the food and didn’t need to eat after, but it depends on your appetite. It feels authentic, relaxed, and a bit different from the usual evening out in Luxembourg.

Our only small notes: they close quite early, so if you’re planning to be out past 9 pm, have a second stop in mind. And currently, there aren’t any non-alcoholic cocktail options on the menu. Hopefully they offer a non-alcoholic spritz or prosecco soon!

Other than that, it’s a wonderful discovery and a great spot for after-work drinks in Luxembourg or a casual evening with friends.
