When we are modeling custom device based on another practitioner's taken 3D scan, commonly we have to exchange information about trimlines/edges of assistive device.

Some send .JPG's with drawn on lines, some scan plaster with drawn-on lines.

There are many options, but WiDE recommends using digital tools and to draw everything in 3D.
