Dear creative souls! May this holiday season bring you the calm of falling snow, the joy of creating something from the heart, and the promise of new stories to tell in the coming year.
From our creative space to yours, we wish that these shortest days and longest nights are filled with wonder, love, and endless inspiration.
With gratitude and warmth,

One of the trickiest parts of sketching is capturing the proportions and getting them just right on paper. It’s easy to get lost and feel like the shapes don’t match the reality of what you see. But remember – that’s part of the magic of sketching! 🌟
When you’re transferring something from real life into your sketchbook, it can feel like a puzzle. How tall is that chair compared to the table? Where does the shadow fall? It can seem challenging, but here’s a little secret: Your sketch doesn’t have to be a perfect replica. In fact, those subtle distortions and unique proportions are what make your drawing yours – like a signature in your own visual handwriting. ✏️💛
So here is a take from fourth week of our watercolor sketching course - embrace the process, experiment, and let your hand move with confidence. Happy sketching, friends! 🎨🖌️
