Great News from BSI!

Starting at the end of 2025, all our electrically cooled Monolith HPGe detectors will become significantly more energy-efficient.

Our team continuously works on improving our instruments, and Monolith is no exception. We have succeeded in reducing both peak and nominal power consumption.

The cooled detector now operates at approximately 70 watts, compared to the previous 100–140 watts. This improvement means lower operational costs, higher efficiency, and even greater convenience for our users.

Automatic liquid nitrogen refilling.

Liquid nitrogen filling process even more convenient!
By request, we now offer an automatic liquid-nitrogen refilling system.

It features a controller of the LN₂ level monitor switching an electric valve that starts and stops refilling LN2 from the storage Dewar vessel at preset threshold levels.

In other words, the system takes care of your detector for you freeing up your time and attention. For example, you can leave your detector cooled and unattended over long season holidays that are coming shortly.
