Last week Hercs Flora team visited beautiful Budapest city for annual EILO - European Interior Landscaping Organisation meeting. While Anna Polite was getting new design inspirations, technicians Mārcis Lapsiņš and Viesturs Kustovs were exploring technicial innovations.

𝗘𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯: 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗦!

We have 32 nominees from 10 different countries! All projects are highlighted on our website https://www.eilo.eu/eilos-best-project-award-2023/ and we will present them here too, in random order.

You can vote for your favourite project to take home one of our our Public Awards. The projects with the most (non advertised and non antedated) likes or shares will win a Gold, Silver or Bronze Public Award. The awards will be presented October 19 during our excursion in Budapest.
Voting is simple. Just go to the page of your favourite project and look for its hashtag, at the bottom of the page. Share the project on Instagram, Linkedin and/or Facebook using both the hashtag of the project and our general hashtag and we will count all likes and shares. Today we present 𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗡 𝗭𝗢𝗢 by Hercs Flora in the category Green Interior.

For Tallinn Zoo a natural environment for exotic animals was created, providing a hot, light and moist climate. A challenge in a Northern country that has -20 degree cold and 6 hour of daylight in winter. The building has a see through roof, that gives warmth from the sun in winter and keeps cool in summer. One more interesting sustainability fact is that local compost made by help of zoo animals was used in the planting process. The work contains 110 different species, of which some very rare in Europe. In total 2500 plants 20-900cm high.
