Sanctuary tells visual stories of compassion for animals, within the world's biggest challenges.
This is the scene the team encountered when they first arrived to document the Ridglan Farms dog rescue on Saturday, April 18th.
Activists attempt to overcome hay bails used as obstacles in an effort to clear a path to enter the farm and are pushed back by tear gas from law enforcement.
Hundreds of activists arrived on site, attempting an open rescue of 2,000 beagles used and sold for experimentation.
We interviewed students in the Leaders for Ethics, Animals and the Planet (LEAP) program at Luvin’ Arms Animal Sanctuary in Erie, Colorado for our upcoming film Finding Sanctuary Within. Here’s what they had to say about emotions, compassion and sanctuary.
