I qualified 9th and was up against in top 16 where I pushed a little to hard in my chase and made contact so was on a 10/0 disadvantage so I went out in my lead run and gave it everything but wasn’t enough to overturn my mistake in the chase. I’m a bit disappointed but hey that’s motorsport and we will learn from our mistakes.

Crazy weekend at rd1 japfest of the in mondello park. It had lots of highs and some lows. From practice Friday and Saturday I felt very comfortable in the car and was feeling good for main event on Sunday. Qualifying was ok I felt I could have done better but maybe nerves got the better of me but I managed to qualify 17th overall which put me up against my buddy in the top 32 battles and always love driving against Martin as he is always full throttle no messing and was brilliant battle but I managed to do enough and get the win.

So onto the top 16 which was against and I knew I had a tough battle against him. I was chasing first and I gave it everything but just after coming from clip 2 to clip 3 I debeaded tyre on passenger side but I kept her at it and I felt we had done a good chase with only 1 rear tyre so I called 5 minute rule and changed tyre and went back to the start line and entered the warmup box where I debeaded a tyre again and I hadn’t any more 5 minute rules left so that was the battle over unfortunately.

Plus side car is amazing and I feel like I’m getting to grips with it now.

We went to the Toy drive last Saturday in aid of . Great turn out for it with some awesome cars at it but big well done to all of the crew for organising this and the amount of toys donated was incredible. Big thanks to and who donated toys to me to bring up on the day.
