🎉 Congratulations Nikšić !
The city has just been recommended by the jury to hold the title of European Capital of Culture 2030 in the special competition for EFTA/EEA countries, candidate countries or potential candidates for EU membership!
This title holds a key role in strengthening the bonds between the EU and its neighbours. 🌍
In 2030, Nikšić will share the title with Leuven (Belgium), and another city in Cyprus.
👏 The city follows in the footsteps of Novi Sad (Serbia) in 2022, Bodø (Norway) in 2024, and Skopje (North Macedonia) in 2028.
