Open Call – Local Investigative Journalism Training & Mentoring Program
Democracy Lab, in partnership with journalists Snezhana Lupevska and Nazim Rashidi, invites local journalists from Skopje and Struga to apply for a hands-on investigative journalism training and mentoring program.

Participants will receive:
• One day of in-person training in May 2026
• Ongoing mentoring (May–Nov 2025)
• $300 research stipend for investigative story
• Opportunity to broadcast work on TV

Ne mbështesim studentët në kërkesat e tyre legjitime dhe u bëjmë thirrje institucioneve që të reflektojnë dhe, në përputhje me Kushtetutën dhe ligjet në fuqi, të ofrojnë zgjidhje të drejtë dhe të qëndrueshme.

Democracy Lab u bën thirrje të gjithë pjesëmarrësve që protesta të zhvillohet në mënyrë paqësore dhe në përputhje me vlerat demokratike. Njëkohësisht, apelojmë që të gjitha palët të tregojnë përgjegjësi dhe maturi në përmbushjen e rolit të tyre.

Support for Students
April 3, 2026
Democracy Lab emphasizes that the right to protest, as called for April 6, is a fundamental democratic right and an expression of civic responsibility. We support the students in their legitimate demands and call on institutions to reflect and, in accordance with the Constitution and applicable laws, provide fair and sustainable solutions.

Democracy Lab calls on all participants to ensure that the protest remains peaceful and in line with democratic values. At the same time, we urge all parties to demonstrate responsibility and restraint in fulfilling their roles.

As we conclude 2025, we are proud to share that the Youth and Community Center (YCC), in partnership with Democracy Lab, recorded 2,131 visits and organized and hosted 71 activities throughout the year.

For the 7️⃣🌟 consecutive year, we sincerely thank you for choosing us and for being part of our journey. Together, through numerous events such as debates, programs, meetings, workshops, and community initiatives, we continued to create a space for dialogue, learning, and positive change.

Thank you for your trust, collaboration, and continuous support. ✨We wish you peace, good health, happiness, and many successes in the year ahead.
