Hello guys! Today we want to share another coffee processing method which has become popular in recent years and it's the 'Anaerobic Process'.

In this process, coffee beans are fermented in sealed tanks where there's no oxygen. The pulp is first removed before putting it into airtight tanks containing water where naturally occurring yeast interacts with the remaining sugar of the beans, releasing pressure and carbon dioxide. Then the pressure pushes the remaining oxygen through a one way valve out of the tank.

Anaerobic coffee often taste creamier than regular coffee and has fruity notes. If you're looking for a creamier taste with fruity notes, we recommend you to try it at our cafe!
