Genetic recombination ကို လေ့လာတွေ့ရှိခဲ့တဲ့ Barbara McClintock (1902–1992) ပုံကို ရေးဆွဲထားတာပါ။ While studying maize, she discovered jumping genes, DNA pieces that can move, switch genes on and off, and change how traits appear. Her discovery helps scientists understand how diseases develop, how plants adapt, and how evolution works. In 1983, she became the first woman to receive an unshared Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for this work.
