CIF (cost, insurance and freight)
CIF ဆိုတာ 11 ICC international trade terms ထဲက seller responsibility အများဆုံး incoterms ဖြစ်ပါတယ်
Source * Incoterms 2020
Seller က cargo production Cost/packaging/documentation အကုန်တာဝန်ယူရပါတယ် (Original Port)
Buyer’s destination port မရောက်ခင်အထိ cargo insurance
Buyer’s destination port အထိ Ocean Freight charges အကုန်တာဝန်ယူရပါမယ်
သို့ပေမယ့်
Original Port ကနေ သဘော်စထွက်ပြီဆိုတာ နဲ့ လမ်းခရီးတစ်လျှောက် ဖြစ်လာနိုင်တဲ့ risks မှန်သမျှဟာ Buyer နဲ့ပဲဆိုင်ပါတယ်
(Insurance ဝယ်ပေးထားတယ် ဆိုပေမဲ့လဲ normal protection/coverage ပဲရမှာပါ)
Destination Port ရောက်ပြီး Documentation နဲ့ အကောက်ခွန်ရှင်းလင်းရေးကိုလဲ Buyer ပဲလုပ်ရမှာပါ
CIF ကို အလွယ်မှတ်ရင် ဝယ်သူဆိပ်ကမ်းအရောက်လို့မှတ်လို့ရပေမယ့် Voyage တစ်လျှောက် Full Protection ရထားတယ်လို့ မမှတ်ယူနိုင်ပါ
Voyage မှာ ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာတဲ့ risk မှန်သမျှ insurance နဲ့ buyer ပဲရှင်းရမှာပါ
ဒါ့ကြောင့် CIF နဲ့ ဝယ်မယ်ဆို seller ဝယ်ပေးတဲ့ Insurance policy ကို သေချာတောင်းဖတ်ထားဖို့လိုပါတယ်
High Value Property ဆိုရင်တော့ Premium Insurance ကို own cost နဲ့ ထပ်ဝယ်ထားဖို့လိုကြောင်း အကြံပေးရေးသားလိုက်ပါတယ်
