Each of these groups consists of various sub-groups, with the Kachin having twelve, the Kayah nine, the Karen eleven, the Chin fifty-three, the Bamar nine, the Rakhine seven, and the Shan thirty-three. This rich tapestry of ethnic diversty contributes to the cultural complexity and beauty of the nation.
