Mee Panyar

မီးပညာ means "knowledge of light." Looking back, when we were trying to come up with a name for our organization, မီးပညာ felt perfect because our whole goal was to bring light and electricity to communities through knowledge/ပညာ, which meant, in our case, training the next generation of solar technicians.
So far, မီးပညာ has trained over 800 solar technicians from rural and conflict-affected areas, who will use their knowledge/ပညာ to go on to power homes, schools, and small businesses — and who will train others in turn. Most of them came from places where electricity was unreliable at best and non-existent at worst, so they understand the struggle firsthand. And that's exactly why they can continue to build and sustain that knowledge within their own communities.

With Myanmar being a country where access to light and electricity is still a daily uncertainty for millions, knowledge is indeed power and for some communities, knowledge is access to electricity.

Today on 16 May, မီးပညာ would like to join UNESCO in celebrating the International Day of Light, for light itself, as a driver of science, education, and sustainable development, and the solar technicians across Myanmar who are making it possible.

မီးပညာမဖြစ်လာခင် အဖွဲ့အစည်းအတွက် နာမည်ရှာနေခဲ့တုန်းက မီးပညာ ဆိုတဲ့နာမည်ဟာ အကိုက်ညီဆုံးပဲလို့ ခံစားမိခဲ့တယ်။ ဘာကြောင့်လဲဆိုတော့ ပညာ/knowledge ကိုအသုံးပြုပြီး လူထုဆီ အလင်းရောင်နဲ့ လျှပ်စစ်မီး ရောက်ရှိစေဖို့ကို ကျွန်မတို့ အဓိကရည်မှန်းထားခဲ့တာမို့ပါ။

အခုချိန်မှာ မီးပညာဟာ ကျေးလက်ဒေသနဲ့ ပဋိပက္ခဒဏ်ခံရတဲ့ဒေသတွေမှာရှိတဲ့ solar techician ၈၀၀ ကျော်ကို သင်တန်းပေးခဲ့ပြီးဖြစ်တယ်။ သင်တန်းဆင်းပြီးသူတွေဟာ သူတို့ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုတွေကို အသုံးပြုပြီး သူတို့နေထိုင်ရာဒေသတွေအတွက် လျှပ်စစ်မီးရရှိစေဖို့ ကူညီပေးမှာနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ကျွမ်းကျင်ပညာတွေကို နောက်ပိုင်းမှာ လက်ဆင့်ကမ်းသွားနိုင်စေဖို့အတွက် မျှော်လင့်ထားပါတယ်။​

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ သန်းပေါင်းများစွာသော ပြည်သူတွေဟာ လျှပ်စစ်မီးနဲ့ အလှမ်းဝေးနေဆဲပါ။ လျှပ်စစ်မီးရရှိဖို့အတွက် သင်တန်းပညာတွေ၊ ပညာရှင်တွေအဓိကလိုအပ်နေပါသေးတယ်။

ဒီနေ့ မေလ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့ဟာ နိုင်ငံတကာအလင်းရောင်နေ့ (International Day of the Light) ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မီးပညာအနေနဲ့ သိပ္ပံ၊ ပညာရေးနဲ့ ရေရှည်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုကို မောင်းနှင်တဲ့ အလင်းရောင်ကို လူတိုင်းလက်လှမ်းမှီစေနိုင်ဖို့ ဆန္ဒပြုရင်း လျှပ်စစ်မီးရရှိဖို့ ကြိုးစားလုပ်ဆောင်နေကြတဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတစ်ဝှမ်းက solar technicians တွေအားလုံးကို ဂုဏ်ပြုလိုပါတယ်။

ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်မှာ ဆိုလာအခြေခံတဲ့ စက်ပစ္စည်းတွေ၊ အင်ဗာတာတွေ၊ နေအိမ်တွေမှာ မီးရဖို့ အသေးစားဆိုလာစနစ်တွေ တပ်ဆင်လာကြတာကို ကြားဖူးမြင်ဖူးကြမှာပါ။

ဒီလိုဆိုလာစွမ်းအင်နယ်ပယ်ကျယ်ပြန့်လာတာနဲ့ ဆိုလာကျွမ်းကျင်ပညာရှင်တွေလည်း ပိုပြီးလိုအပ်လာတာပေါ့။

သင်က ဆိုလာနယ်ပယ်အကြောင်းစိတ်ဝင်စားတယ်၊ အခြေခံကစပြီးသင်ယူချင်တယ်၊ ဒါမဲ့ ဆိုလာနယ်ပယ်မှာ ဘယ်လိုအလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အရေးတွေရှိမလဲ စဥ်းစားနေတဲ့သူဆိုရင် ဒီစာလေးကို ဆက်ဖတ်ကြည့်ပေးပါဦး။

Solar technician: ဆိုလာနည်းပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်လာပြီဆိုရင် solar panel တွေတပ်ဆင်တာ၊ household wiring ပြေးတာ၊ inverter ချိတ်တာ၊ commissioning လုပ်တာ (battery နဲ့ inverter ကြားချိတ်ဆက်တဲ့ communication settings တွေချိန်ညှိခြင်း) စသဖြင့် လက်တွေ့ field ဆင်းရတဲ့ အလုပ်တွေကို လုပ်ဆောင်ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အခုချိန် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အလိုအပ်ဆုံးနေရာဆိုရင်လည်း မမှားပါဘူး။

O&M Technician: Operation and maintenance ပြုပြင်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေး techician ဆိုတာ ဆိုလာစနစ်တွေ တပ်ဆင်ပြီးတဲ့နောက်မှာ ထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရတဲ့အလုပ်မျိုးပေါ့။ Panel တွေသန့်ရှင်းရေးလုပ်တာမျိုး၊ performance စစ်ဆေးပေးတာမျိုး၊ residential (နေအိမ်သုံး)၊ commercial (စီးပွားရေးသုံး) solar စနစ်တပ်ဆင်ထားတဲ့နေရာတွေမှာ လိုအပ်နေတဲ့ ရာထူးတစ်ခုပါ။

Solar Sales Assistant: သင်က ပေါင်းသင်းဆက်ဆံရေးကောင်းမွန်တဲ့သူတစ်ဦးဖြစ်ရင်တော့ sales assistant ရာထူးကလည်း သင့်တော်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဆိုလာနဲ့ပတ်သက်တဲ့ အခြေခံဗဟုသုတရှိပြီဆိုရင် Customer တွေကို စနစ်တွေအကြောင်းရှင်းပြပေးတာ၊ စနစ်တပ်ဆင်တဲ့အခါ ကုန်ကျနိုင်တဲ့စျေးနှုန်း (quotation) တွေ တွက်ချက်ပေးတာမျိုးတွေလုပ်ရတာပါ။ နည်းပညာပိုင်ဆိုင်ရာဗဟုသုတနဲ့ ပေါင်းသင်းဆက်ဆံရေး ၂ မျိုးလုံး အသုံးချရတဲ့အလုပ်မျိုးပေါ့။

Junior Drafter: ဒီအလုပ်လေးကတော့ solar project တွေကို ဒီဇိုင်းဆွဲရတာပါ။ အိမ်ဆောက်ရင် ဒီဇိုင်းဆွဲသလိုပဲ solar mounting structure တွေဆွဲတာ၊ breaker ဘယ်မှာထားမလဲ၊ ဘက်ထရီကိုဘယ်မှာထားမလဲ၊ ကြိုးတွေကို ဘယ်လိုပြေးမလဲဆိုတာတွေကို software နဲ့ဆွဲရတဲ့အလုပ်မျိုးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Solar Electrician: သင်ကတော့ လျှပ်စစ်ပညာအခြေခံရှိပြီးသားဆိုရင်တော့ DC/AC Wiring, Grounding, Circuit protection တွေသင်ယူပြီးတော့ solar electrician တစ်ဦးအနေနဲ့လည်း ရပ်တည်လို့ရပါတယ်။

ဒီလို အလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်းကို စိတ်ဝင်စားတယ်ဆိုရင် လာမယ့်လတွေမှာ Solar Technician အခြေခံသင်တန်းတွေဖွင့်လှစ်သွားဖို့ရှိပါတယ်။​
