I have been with Simple’Z for over four years, working as a Senior Operator in the BPO Team. In this role, I play a key part in managing our e-commerce operations. My responsibilities include product registration and coding, preparing content using HTML/CSS, editing images with Photoshop, uploading sale banners, and creating product listings for platforms such as Rakuten and Yahoo.

■Could you describe your role and responsibilities as a Senior Operator?

As a Senior Operator, my day revolves around ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce processes. This includes registering new products, enhancing product images for optimal presentation, and preparing detailed listings for platforms such as Rakuten and Yahoo.

■Can you share some notable successes and how you've approached challenges in your career so far?

In a previous role, I took the initiative to create a comprehensive manual for the operations department, which was later adopted company-wide as a model for on-the-job training. A significant part of my current responsibilities involves meeting tight deadlines for tasks assigned by our Japanese clients. To ensure timely delivery, I prioritize tasks, break them down into manageable steps, and maintain proactive communication with both the team and the client. When unexpected challenges arise, I promptly inform the client and collaborate to find a mutually agreeable solution.

I’ve learned to remain adaptable by maintaining a consistent feedback loop, focusing on high-impact work, and being transparent with stakeholders. Throughout my time with the company, I’ve prioritized staying proactive in responding to industry changes, ensuring our processes remain efficient and aligned with evolving business needs.

I believe that the foundation of a successful team lies in trust, clear communication, and mutual respect.
