With EUR 1.3 million in support from European Union Humanitarian Aid, UNFPA Myanmar and partners are bringing lifesaving support closer to women and girls in Sagaing, Chin, Rakhine, Kachin, and Bago East.
The project will deliver:
π safe pregnancy care
π family planning
π gender-based violence protection services
π psychosocial support
π reproductive health supplies
π dignity kits, and more for those facing urgent protection and health needs.
βFor women and girls affected by crises, timely access to safe and confidential care can make the difference between life and death,β said Jaime Nadal Roig, UNFPA Country Representative to Myanmar.
