⚠️ Did you know?
A disposable single-use plastic straw is used for only 15-30 minutes, but it takes more than 200 years to decompose. Additionally, these straws harm our oceans, rivers, and marine life.
Therefore, we encourage you to:
✅ Avoid using disposable single-use plastic straws. When you drink, use the cups directly or choose a reusable straw made from materials like metal, bamboo, or glass.
✅ If you do have to use one, don't throw it away. Instead, reuse it to create something useful, like the heart-shaped keychain shown in this video!

ကြွပ်ကြွပ်စတင်ခဲ့ပုံ💚
၂၀၁၄ ခုနှစ်တုန်းက ကြွပ်ကြွပ် ကို ရိုးရှင်းပေမယ့် ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုနဲ့ စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ် -
"အမှိုက်တွေကနေ လှပပြီးအသုံး၀င်တဲ့အရာတွေအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲနိုင်မယ်ဆိုရင်ကော?"
ဒီအတွေးနဲ့ပဲ စိတ်အားထက်သန်တဲ့ လူအနည်းငယ်စုစည်းပြီး အမှိုက်တွေနဲ့ စမ်းသပ်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့ကြတယ်။ ပလတ်စတစ်တွေ၊ အထည်စတွေ၊ ထီးရွက်အဟောင်းတွေစတဲ့ အမှိုက်တွေကနေတဆင့် လက်လုပ်ပစ္စည်းတွေကို ကြွပ်ကြွပ်အဖွဲ့ရဲ့ ရပ်ရွာအတွင်းကနေပဲ စတင်ဖန်တီးခဲ့ကြတယ်။
၂၀၁၆ မှာတော့ ကြွပ်ကြွပ်ရဲ့ ခရီးကို ရုပ်ရှင်တိုတစ်ခုအနေနဲ့ မှတ်တမ်းတင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီမှာ အမှိုက်တွေကို တန်ဖိုးရှိအောင် ပြောင်းလဲဖို့ ကြွပ်ကြွပ်အဖွဲ့ရဲ့ ကြိုးပမ်းမှု၊ အိပ်မက်တွေနဲ့ ဇွဲလုံ့လတွေကို မြင်တွေ့ရမှာပါ။

How ChuChu Started!?
Back in 2014, ChuChu began with a simple but powerful question:
What if waste could become something beautiful?
With that idea, a small group of passionate people came together to experiment with waste materials. We started creating handmade products from plastic, fabric scraps, old umbrellas, and more — right from our community in Myanmar.
By 2016, our journey was featured in a short documentary. It shows our early efforts, dreams, and determination to turn waste into value. Since then, we’ve faced many challenges — a fire, the COVID-19 pandemic, and political difficulties — but ChuChu continues to grow with your love and support.

To reduce waste, empower local makers, and promote sustainable living.

SheCreates' Bus tours နဲ့အတူ 21ရက်နေ့ကြရင် လာလည်လို့ရပါတယ်လို့ 😊

Join 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬' 𝐁𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 over the weekend!
Participate in this cultural experience as you'll tour various artisan workshops across Yangon. On 21st and 22nd of June we'll start off our trip at 8:30 am in the morning from the SheCreates Showroom in Sanchaung and have multiple stops per day before ending the trip at the Gallery Ohmar of Yangon for our SCW25 weekend community market.
Do note that the last stop of the tour will be at the SheCreates Community market at the Gallery Ohmar! However a bus will return to SheCreates showroom, 2 hours after arriving at the Gallery. This is arranged for the convenience of those travelling in their own cars to Sanchaung.
