Then they became something the WORLD could hold.
Today, that moment is remembered in Der moderne Buchdruck (Modern Book Printing), a 12.2-meter-high monument in Berlin honoring Johannes Gutenberg, whose invention of the modern letterpress revolutionized the spread of knowledge.

I stayed as faithful to it as I could. Not everything is meant to be clarified. Some parts of it carry their own internal logic, and I didn’t try to correct them into something more familiar. I left them as they were, even when I didn’t fully understand what the story was doing.
If someone finds their own reading in it, that’s fine. There are multiple ways into it, and I don’t think any of them need to be corrected. If it resonates, it’s already doing what it came to do.
It’s something from within me. But, collectively, I think it is the human experience, especially in the modern era.
Or maybe it’s always been this way.
