Job title: Trainer Mechanical OJT
Company: Mining company
Location: Umnugobi, Mongolia

Role Purpose:

The primary focus for the Trainer Mechanical On the Job is to ensure effective implementation and management of the apprenticeship training program and also the tradesman upskilling program for all OT mechanical trades.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement training coursework specifically for mechanical production equipment in line with company requirements.
- Make lesson plans and determine the best instructional methods for fitting tradesman training and upskilling.
- Recommend improvements in curriculum and updates to accommodate new technology.
- Conduct educational programs utilising information technology and systems.
- Deliver training, assist with OJT, and conduct assessments.
- Observe and report employee progress and program effectiveness.
- Facilitate/coordinate and motivate the apprentice to achieve individual training, experiential, and assessment requirements.
- Coach apprentice as required.
- Support the ongoing alignment of training objectives with the changing business needs within a dynamic OT environment
- Contribute to organizing the Fitting training workshop on-site with the appropriate equipment.
- Complete the attendance list of each delivered session and ensure that the data will be entered in the training system (LMS) and also to RTO compliance requirements.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment in safe working order at all times.
- Promote good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Work closely with Operations Training Groups / Planners to effectively manage on-site Mechanical trades training delivery and assessment.
- Play a key role in promoting the mechanical competency-based training and assessment model for all fitting trade training.

General Requirements:

- Postgraduate or equivalent education obtained through degrees or diplomas from an academic college or university.
- Experience working on complex, specialized stationary equipment in a thermal power plant or concentrator as a fixed plant mechanic and master would be an advantage.
- At least 5 years relevant experience, or otherwise, significant practical experience and on-the-job training.
- Assemble, troubleshoot, and commission pumps, valves, pipelines, and hydraulics of industrial fixed mechanical.

Provide services and support on health and hygiene, Occupational Health and HSEC training activities of the functional unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team's objectives and targeted plan.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver occupational health and hygiene training to employees and leaders.
- Provide Labor Safety and other HSEC-related trainings as required.
- Conduct practical sessions on identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace hazards.
- Develop and update training materials in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Identify and report common hygiene or exposure concerns observed during training.
- Prepare required reports for stakeholders, inspectors, or auditors.
- Deliver training on fatigue, wellbeing, mental health, and infectious diseases.
- Visit site workplaces to stay familiar with conditions, hazards, and control measures.
- Conduct training gap analyses to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and support improvements in health and safety programs.

Job requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a university offering an Occupational Hygiene or Public Health program (e.g., Public Health Specialist, Health and Safety Professional).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the occupational hygiene field.
-Completed OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Trainer Course.
-Training & Assessment (TAE40110) Certificate or an equivalent qualification would be preferable.
-Strong ability to develop training materials and deliver training sessions effectively in both English and Mongolian.

Job Title: Supervisor Site Service

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide frontline leadership and ensure the effective and consistent delivery of services and support on facilities activities of the functional area in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the department's objectives and targeted plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards within the office environment
• Plan office layouts and manage workspace allocation based on operational needs
• Oversee reception operations and daily office activities
• Supervise maintenance, cleaning, and overall condition of office facilities
• Conduct regular inspections and proactively address potential hazards
• Coordinate facilities-related projects and initiatives
• Work closely with HSEC team and landlords on safety and security matters
• Organize fire and earthquake drills in Ulaanbaatar offices (minimum twice annually)
• Ensure HSE volunteers are properly selected, trained, and maintained
• Handle and resolve facilities-related issues and complaints in a timely manner
• Analyze team workload and adjust schedules or recommend improvements to management
• Act as time administrator for the team
• Prepare monthly reports on expenditures and team performance
• Oversee asset management, contracts, and vendor performance
• Support budgeting activities for the facilities management team
• Assist procurement processes, including:

o Preparing Scope of Work (SOW)
o Developing technical evaluation criteria
o Evaluating vendor proposals
o Supporting contract drafting and negotiations

• Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) and operational plans
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and facilities management standards
• Promote HSEC culture within the team and address non-compliance
• Monitor team wellbeing and identify signs of physical or mental distress
• Conduct regular HSEC risk assessments and reviews
• Stop work when safety controls are inadequate
• Lead discussions and share learnings from HSEC incidents

Job Requirements

• Post-secondary education (degree, diploma, or vocational certification)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in:

o Facilities management
o Vendor and contract management
o Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) practices

• Ability to coordinate evacuation drills across multiple office locations
• Capability to lead emergency response ex*****on during critical situations
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
