12/13 TTT Seminar: Marine Patrol and American Memorial Park
Last Saturday, Tasi to Table’s student members participated in a morning of learning and service focused on boating safety and environmental stewardship.
The day began with an overview by 's Marine Patrol Section on CNMI boating rules and regulations, the five different types of life jackets, and the various kinds of safety equipment boaters in the CNMI are required to have on-board.
Later in the day, TTT's student members visited American Memorial Park, where park rangers shared information on volunteer and internship opportunities with AMP and the National Park Service. After, students then joined the Kupu Corps in removing invasive tangantangan from the park’s wetlands.
STUDENTS: learn more about AMP's many volunteering and internship opportunities by visiting on Facebook and Instagram.
Thank you to our guest presenters for making our seminar an insightful and successful one!
